Radiologic Technologists take x-rays and administer nonradioactive materials into patients’ bloodstreams for diagnostic purposes. Concorde's hands-on training program will help you master the skills of the Radiologic Technology trade, including:
- prepare patients for radiologic examinations
- removing jewelry and other articles through which x rays cannot pass
- positioning patients so the body can be radiographed
Our program trains you to follow physicians’ orders precisely and conform to regulations concerning the use of radiation. In addition to preparing patients and operating equipment, you will also need to know how to keep patient records and adjust and maintain equipment.

Will I receive any special certificates or qualifications?
Yes. Upon successful completion of the Radiologic Technology program, you will receive an Associate of Applied Science Degree from Concorde Career College – Aurora.
Graduates of the Radiologic Technology Program are eligible to take the American Registry of Radiologic Technology exam and, upon successful completion of this examination, to become a Registered Technologist in Radiography, R.T.
